This test may include checks to determine wheth-
er the filter is damaged, the machine is sealed
properly and the monitoring features are function-
ing correctly.
– During maintenance and repair work, all compo-
nents that cannot be cleaned satisfactorily must be
replaced. The old components must be sealed in
impermeable plastic bags prior to disposal in com-
pliance with applicable regulations for this type of
waste.
– Provided maintenance personnel or other persons
in the vicinity are not endangered, the user must
dismantle and clean the machine prior to perform-
ing maintenance work. Appropriate precautionary
measures include decontaminating the machine
prior to disassembly, making provisions for locally
filtered forced ventilation at the location of ma-
chine disassembly, cleaning the maintenance area
and appropriate personal protective equipment.

Empty dirt trap [3], replace disposal bag

WARNING
Dust may arise when emptying the dirt trap
Wear a dust mask!
Open housing door [3-2].
Pull handle [3-1] forward.
The filter container is raised.
Remove dirt trap [3-3] completely.
Empty dirt trap or close disposal bag carefully so
that dust cannot escape and replace with a new
one.
 Always move the dirt trap back to the front and
push back the handle, otherwise the machine will
not function.

Replace filter and sensor filter [4]

WARNING
Dust may arise when emptying the dirt trap
Wear a dust mask!
Open housing door [4-3].
Slacken screws [4-1] and remove housing part
[4-2].
Remove vacuum sensor hose [4-6]; press blue
ring on compression fitting and pull hose.
Slacken star-grip screw [4-5] and remove com-
pletely.

Remove supply air pipe [4-7].
Pull handle [4-4] forward and remove.
The handle is raised.
Remove filter container [4-8] with dirt trap.
Carefully tap filter into its mounting, put the bag
of the spare filter over the filter flange and in-
sert the filter into the bag during removal. Exer-
cise care when sealing the bag so that no dust
escapes. Observe the regional regulations on
filter disposal.
Carefully remove dust deposits around the filter
mounting using a damp cloth or a suitable mo-
bile dust extractor.
Insert new filter cartridge.
For ATEX turbine secure the ring cable lug of
the discharge lines as in the prior state.
Unscrew central sensor air filter; reach in
through a main filter opening.
Clean compression fitting.
Insert new sensor air filter and tighten by hand.
 Always move filter and dirt trap back to the front
and push back handle, and screw in star-grip
screw, [4-5] otherwise the machine will not func-
tion.
10.3

Changing the cooling air filter

There are cooling air filters at two locations on the
exhaust turbine, which must be replaced if required:
in the control box:
DANGER
Injuries, electric shock or fire
Covers at the frequency converter can only be
removed at least 15 minutes after the system is
switched off.
Ensure proper grounding!
Open control box.
Slacken screws at the bracket of the cooling air
filter [5-1].
Remove filter and replace with a new one.
Under the upper cover:
Switch off device.
Remove upper cover after slackening screw con-
nections.
Slacken screws at the bracket of the cooling air
filter [5-2].
Remove filter and replace with a new one.
