5.3- Adjusting the base (for miter and sawing near edges)
Use a hex-key (not supplied) to unscrew the two screws (a)
on the bottom of the base (7).
For miter and bevel cuts you can swivel the base by up to
45° in either direction after unscrewing the two screws.
The angles 0°, 15°, 30° and 45° are marked but you can
adjust the saw to any angle between these markings as
required.
Adjust to the required angle and re-tighten the screws.
5.4- Setting the pendulum action
The pendulum action (or orbital action) consists of the blade stroking up
and down and simultaneously rocking in a pendulum-like motion i.e. the
blade moves forwards & backwards.
The selector switch (6) for pendulum action has a 4-position setting.
The setting will depend on the type of cut and the material you are working
on.
A low pendulum action usually results in a smooth and clean cut.
A high pendulum action usually results in a coarse aggressive cut.

Tips: if you find the pendulum action setting you have selected is cutting the material too aggressively, you
can always change the setting in the middle of the cut.
5.5- Dust extraction
The jigsaw is equipped with a dust extractor connector (5).
Any vacuum cleaner can be connected to the connector on the rear of the jigsaw.
If you required a special adapter, please contact the manufacturer of your vacuum cleaner.
Connect to the hose of your vacuum cleaner to the connector (5).
