The switch now features a three colour indicator showing the condition of the battery.
A green light shows that the battery is in the best condition. If you are using a solar
panel, a green light indicates that your panel is efficiently replacing the power consumed
by the pump.
A blue light shows that the battery is still in good condition but some deeper discharge is
present. If using a panel, this suggests that consumption is exceeding the panels
ability to replace it. This may be a temporary situation due to the weather and the
panel may bring the battery back to a green status.
A red light shows that the battery needs re-charging. If using a panel, you may wish to
increase the watt of panel you are using to better match your power consumption.
A flashing red light indicates that battery is low and will cut-out to protect the battery
from being discharged too deeply. It is likely that you need more solar power to balance
your consumption. The pump can be used with (up to) a 300w solar array.
