Maintenance

Important
Maintenance operations should be
carried out regularly, at least once a
year and by qualified personnel.
· Cut off power supply to the multipole
switch.
· Make sure there is no current.
· Cut off the gas intake.
· Check for gas leaks.
Setting values are those indicated in
the section Start Up.
Use only genuine manufacturer's spare
parts.
· Remove the burner cover.
A
Cleaning
General main board access
· Loosen the four screws 5 five turns.
· Work the board free and pull until
completely clear.
· Hang the board from hanging point 7.
Air-box
· Remove screw K.
· Remove the air-box.
· Use a dry paintbrush to remove dust
from the air-box and sound-proofing
foam.
· Reassemble.
Volute
· Use a paintbrush to remove dust
from inside the volute, fan, blast
tube, recycling piece, air flap and air
pressure switch take-off.
Firing head
· Loosen (clockwise) the locking nut
on the gas head.
· Loosen completely (counterclockwise)
the spherical head screw E.
· Remove the firing head.
· Disconnect the ignition cable from
the electrode and the ionization
cable from the probe.
· Check the adjustment and condition
of: the ignition electrode on the stop
against the gas star, the ignition
probe and the turbulator.
· If necessary, replace these parts.
· Reassemble.
· When reassembling, check presence
and position of the O-ring seal J2.
· Check for leaks.
Fan turbine adjustment
B
In the event of fan motor or turbine
replacement, dimension 0 between A
and B must be respected (see
diagram).
· Tighten the turbine. Check to ensure
that it will not bind.
· Replace the main board assembly in
the case.
· Tighten the four screws 5 in
diagonally opposite pairs.
· Check for leaks.

Blast tube disassembly
· Disconnect the 7P connector.
· Remove the screw that fasten the
valve assembly on the case.
· Unscrew the clamping ring screw.
· Withdraw the burner and place it on
the floor.
· Unscrew the four blast tube screws
by five turns and remove it.
· Replace, position and fix the blast
tube.
· Follow the same procedure in
reverse order to reassemble.
· If necessary, fill the space between
the test hole and the blast tube with
a refractory material.
· Once completed, check for leaks.
External filter check (NC4/NC6)
m
Do not attempt to service the
internal valve filter.
The external filter is clamped into a
spacer between the inlet flange and the
valve body. It should be checked at
each service inspection and replaced if
clogged.
· Remove the four screws on the
flange.
· Withdraw and clean or replace the
spacer.
· Replace the assembly, with one
O-ring seal in the filter spacer
housing, pressing against the valve
body, and the other O-ring in the
flange recess, pressing against the
spacer.
· Tighten the four screws in diagonally
opposite pairs.
· Open the shut-off valve.
· Check gas tightness and flow-rate.
· Check combustion.
Gas valves
The gas valves require no special
maintenance. No repairs are to be
carried out to the valves.
Defective valves should be changed by
a suitably qualified technician, who will
then repeat the leakage, operation and
combustion test procedure.
Cleaning the cover
No chlorinated or abrasive product
should be used.
· Clean the cover with water
containing a detergent.
· Put the cover back in place.
N.B.
After every maintenance operation:
· Check the combustion parameters
under actual service conditions (doors
closed, cover on, etc.) and test the
various systems for gas leaks.
· Record the results in the relevant
documents.
