Enable WDS
Set the check mark to enable WDS (Wireless Distribution System).
WDS Settings – MAC address
Enter here the MAC address of the AP which is to be connected to the dual-
band wifi range extender.
WDS Settings - Channel
Here, you select a channel which is to be used by the dual-band wifi range
extender. Note that the channel has to be the same for all APs. If you do not
know which channel is used by your other device, check its settings. For further
details, please read the operating instructions for the relevant device.
WDS Settings - Comment
Here, you can enter a comment.
Security Setting - Encryption
Select an encryption for the network here. Once the encryption has been
selected, you can add more information about the encryption and specify the
network key. Note that the encryption has to be the same for all APs. It is best if
you copy the existing encryption of your wireless network.
Click on the Apply button to confirm changed settings.
