Chart 1 – Working Pressure - Blackfoot Angler 11'0 iSUP
Valve
MAIN [1]
1. Locate a flat, dry area near the water. The best setup position will also make launching easy. Never
drag board as damage may occur. Carry board by center handle, tipped at 90 degrees to fit under arm.
2. Unroll board completely and locate Main Valve [1]. To help future storage, closely note original folding
method. Remove valve cap and confirm valve is in inflate (1-way airflow) position.
3. Insert air pump hose with proper valve fitting into Main Valve [1]. Use pump to inflate board to Working
Pressure as shown in Chart 1. This board incorporates high-pressure 15cm FSL drop stitch for ultimate
performance. While it is possible to paddle board confidently with as little as 12.0psi (0,83bar) minimum,
inflate to full working pressure between 14.0 – 18.0psi (0,97 – 1,24bar) for peak performance. Heavier
users may prefer higher end of this range for greater stiffness. Do not allow pressure to exceed 20.0psi
(1,38bar) as damage may occur. Check for proper pressure using gauge (manometer). Replace valve
cap.
4. Attach ankle leash to leash ring located near Main Valve. Open Velcro overlock and use rope loop
to attach to leash ring. Then use double Velcro overlock to attach to rope. Using an ankle leash is
recommended as it prevents board and paddler from becoming separated in contrary winds, currents
and other unforeseen events. Use of ankle leash may not be advisable in extremely dangerous situations
such as paddling in whitewater.
5. Install fin. This board uses a US-style center fin and finbox with thumb-screw and tab. No tools are
required for installation. See G.
a. Roll board over to expose bottom. Fin box is positioned toward rear. Remove thumb screw and flat
tab (rectangular nut) from fin.
b. Reconnect tab and thumb screw loosely – just a turn and a half.
c. Use thumb screw to insert flat tab into opening in finbox and slide tab as far forward as possible.
Unscrew thumb screw leaving flat tab in place at front of finbox. See G-1.
d. Fin has a horizontal pin toward the rear. Starting with this pin, insert fin into opening in finbox and
slide backward until front of fin can be pressed into box. See G-2.
e. Align hole in fin with hole in flat tab and insert thumb screw. Tighten to secure. See G-3.
f. Reverse steps to remove fin.
G
6. This board also uses removable Click thruster fins for additional tracking and shallow water use. No
tools are required for installation. Click thruster hex tool is included for adjustment, if necessary. Shallow
draft option: remove US center fin and use only thrusters for paddling in shallow waters. See H.
a. Roll board over to expose bottom. Thruster fins are positioned near rails toward rear.
b. Insert each thruster fin round side out in thruster fin box. Pull back firmly to Click fins in place.
