Intended Use

The machine is intended for stirring powder-type
building materials such as mortar, plaster,
cement, and solvent-free paints, varnish and
similar substances.
The user alone is responsible for any liabilities
caused by usage other than intended.

Starting Operation and Use

Improper use may damage the instrument.
Observe therefore these instructions:
- Use a tool up to the specified diameter.
- Load the instrument in such a way that the
speed would not drop considerably or that it
would stop.
Check if the data on the rating plate correspond
with the actual mains voltage.
Instrument scheduled for 230 V can be plugged
to 220 V / 240 V mains.
Connecting the mains cable module
(Plug it)
The machine is equipped with a quick-change
mains cable module (11). By disconnecting the
mains cable and the machine, both can be trans-
ported easier.
Insert the mains cable module (11) into the
socket (9) of the machine and secure by turning
the sleeve (10) in clockwise direction.
To undo the connection, turn the sleeve (10) in
counterclockwise direction and pull the mains
cable module (11) from the socket (9).
Use the mains cable module only for
PROTOOL power tools. Do not attempt to
operate other machines with it.
Fixing a whisk
Screw tools with thread M 14 x 2 as far as pos-
sible in the tool mount (4) and tighten properly
with an open-end wrench (7) (22 mm) from
among the accessories.
Switching on and off
By pressing the switch button (1) the apparatus
is brought into operation and it stops when this is
relieved.
Permanent run
By pressing the switch button (1) to the stop and
simultaneous pressing the arresting pin (2) per-
manent run is achieved.
By subsequent pressing and relieving of the
switch button the permanent run is interrupted.
Unloading the tool (whisk)
Fit a flat open-end wrench (7) (22 mm) on the
hexagon end of the tool (whisk) and unscrew the
tool from the spindle by turning it to the left.

Electronic Motor Control

Starting current limiting
The electronically controlled smooth start takes
care that the machine starts without jerk. In this
manner, the splashing of thin liquid materials is
prevent at the same time when switching on the
machine.
As a result of the machine's reduced starting
current, a 16 A fuse is sufficient
No-load speed reduction
The electronic control reduces the no-load speed
of the machine which results in reduced noise
and wear of motor and gear.
Speed pre-selection
With the speed control (12),
the speed can be conti-
nuously pre-selected:
The necessary speed is
dependent on the type of
material to be mixed. It is
recommended that it be
confirmed with a practical
trial.
Speed selection
(MXP 1202 EQ / 1602 EQ)
Two rpm ranges can be preselected with the
speed selector switch (5):
Speed 1:
150 rpm – 300 rpm
Speed 2:
300 rpm – 650 rpm
The necessary speed depends on the type of the
material mixed and it is recommended to verify it
by a practical test.
Constant Electronics
The constant electronics keeps the speed
between no-load and load nearly constant and
ensures uniform mixing of the materials.
Electronic overload protection
In case that the machine is extremely overloaded,
an electronic overload protection protects the
motor from damage. In this case, the motor stops
and restarts only after the feeding pressure is
reduced, res. after relief.
