PROPER FIT DIAGRAM
BERN HELMET AND HARD HAT USER INSTRUCTIONS
1 Try the helmet or HARD HAT on and make sure it has a snug, comfortable fit.
2 Adjust the straps so that they form a "Y" forward of and below each ear. Adjust the strap
to fit comfortably snug. With the helmet or HARD HAT on, position the strap under the
jawbone and against the throat and firmly close fastener. When tightly fastened make
sure it cannot be removed from your head or rolled forward or backward excessively.
3 When properly fitted and adjusted, your ears should not be covered by any part of the straps.
4 Make sure that you can see clearly and that your peripheral vision is not blocked.
5 Check carefully for damage, cracks or tears in materials before use.
6 This helmet or HARD HAT should not be used by children while climbing or participating
in other activities when there is a risk of the child hanging him or herself.
7 To adjust the rear size adjustor by turning clockwise or anticlockwise to get a proper fit.
