PeratinG tHe unit
Before you switch the unit on, you must set the rotating
speed (rotary knob (D)) to zero.
The power plug is intended as a separator. Make sure
that the power plug is plugged into an easily reachable
wall socket.
A Before operating this unit, please ensure that the voltage
specified on the unit corresponds to the local line voltage. Insert
the power plug on the power cord (A) into the wall socket.
B Make sure now that the unit´s toggle switch „POWER" (C) is
in the „off" position (the control LED (I) should not light up yet).
C Set the rotation speed (D) of the unit to „0".
D Insert the hand unit´s plug into the main unit´s connecting
socket (B).
E Select a suitable grinding head. Open the chuck by turning the
tension ring (E) anti-clockwise. Insert the grinding head into its
holder at the front of the hand unit. Lock the chuck by turning the
tension ring (E) clockwise. Check the position of the grinding
head and whether the chuck on the hand unit is properly
locked. Never use force to remove or insert a grinding head!
Grinding heads with 2.32 mm to 2.35 mm shaft diameter fit
exactly into the grinding head holder without you having to use
excessive force. To remove the grinding head, please turn off
the unit.
F To turn on the unit, pick up the hand unit and push the toggle
switch (C) onto the „on" position (the unit´s control LED (I) must
light up green when the unit is turned on).
