CAUTION: To sanitize an area of your floor, leave the steam mop head over the area for a minimum of 8
seconds, but no longer than 50 seconds. Leaving the steam mop head in a stationary position for longer
than the recommended period could cause build-up of a pale residue or damage the area. This residue can
be removed by using a decalcifying product or with a few drops of vinegar. Only use the appliance on sealed
hard floors like marble, ceramic, stone, linoleum, sealed hardwood floors and parquet. If surfaces have been
treated with wax, the wax may be removed by the heat and steam action. Do not use on unsealed wooden
floors or allow the appliance to emit steam on any wood floor for an extended period of time. This could
cause the wood grain to rise. Be extra cautious when using on vinyl, linoleum or any other heat sensitive
surface. Too much heat could melt the glue in the flooring. It is thus recommended to first try cleaning a
small isolated area of the floor. It is also recommended to check the use and care instructions of the floor's
manufacturer to ensure suitability to steam cleaning.
How to assemble and use as hand-held steamer:
• Press the handle lock button
• Press the lock button
• Insert the accessory adaptor tube
(you will hear a click).
• Choose the appropriate accessories (check accessories list); align and attach to the accessory adaptor
then turn it clockwise until it locks into place.
• Press the lock button
