USE
• This appliance is intended for domestic or similar use.
• The use of accessories not recommended by the appliance manufacturer could lead to injury.
• Only use the appliance indoors, in dry areas and not in the vicinity of water.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. This can cause a fatal electric shock!
• Remove the power plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use or is being cleaned.
• Do not allow the power cord to hang over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and naked flames.
• Never use the appliance if the power cord shows signs of damage, if the appliance has fallen on the ground
or shows any other signs of damage. In such cases, take the appliance to an expert for inspection and have
it repaired if necessary.
• Never allow children to use domestic appliances as toys or without supervision. Children are unable to judge
the hazards associated with incorrectly using electric appliances.
• Children in the vicinity of the appliance must always be supervised by an adult.
• Never leave the appliance unattended whilst it is in use.
• Never direct steam towards people, animals, plants, wall sockets, electric wiring or appliances containing
electric components, such as the interior of an oven.
• Do not use the appliance without the micro-fiber cloth pad in place.
• N ever use the appliance without water; fill the water tank before use. The appliance will heat up with an
empty water tank and this will damage the appliance. Top up the water tank during use, before running
out of water to prevent damage to the appliance.
• Be extra cautious when using the appliance on stairs.
• Keep your work area well illuminated.
• Never put cleaning detergents or deodorants into the water tank; this will make operation unsafe and
damage the appliance. Always use clean drinking water to fill the appliance's water tank. In areas featuring
hard water, distilled water should be used for better performance.
• Never block the steam openings of the appliance or place it on a soft surface, where steam openings may
be blocked. Keep steam openings free of lint, hair, etc.
• The appliance must not be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking
water.
• Always switch OFF the appliance before changing accessories.
• Do not switch ON the appliance until accessories have been fitted properly.
• Always allow accessories to cool down before changing to another accessory.
• Only use the appliance in upright position.
• Never direct the steam at one point for too long.
• Do not use the appliance to clean materials that are not suitable for steam cleaning, such as leather,
synthetics, upholstery, or waxed floors. If in doubt, test the steam cleaner on a small section of the material
which is out of sight.
• Once the appliance has been used and switched OFF, it will continue to emit steam for about 10 seconds.
This is normal because the appliance still contains steam until it has cooled down.
• Make sure your hands are dry before touching the appliance, power cord or plug.
• Never use the appliance in damp conditions or humid rooms.
• Never insert objects in any of the appliance's openings.
• Once you have finished using the appliance, empty any remaining water from the water tank.
• Clean the appliance thoroughly after use.

• Risk of injury! Never hold your hand in front of the steam nozzle.
• Only use the appliance once parts have been properly installed.
