Mounting the antenna directly onto a flat, wooden surface
This is the typical method used to mount a Sheep Antenna. Use wood screws to secure the antenna.
Caution!
The ends of the wood screws can potentially harm animals if they are allowed to poke through the wooden surface into the animal
enclosure. Ensure that the ends of the wood screws are embedded in the wood when fully inserted. If necessary, use wood screws of a different
length.
You will need:
A marker pen

4 x wood screws (provided with Sheep Antenna only)
•
4 x flat washers (provided)
•
Screw driver
•
To mount the antenna directly onto a flat, wooden surface:
1 Locate the mounting slots on the antenna (see the diagrams on page 3).
2 Hold the antenna in position in the mounting location. With a marker pen, mark four mounting points on the wooden surface; two at the top,
two at the bottom.
3 Attach the antenna to the outside of the weigh crate or drafter using the wood screws provided. Fit washers underneath each screw head.
Tighten the wood screws enough to eliminate lateral movement. Ensure that the ends of the wood screws are embedded in the wood, not
protruding into the animal enclosure.
