same kind and the same charge. Never mix alka-
line batteries with normal one (Carbon-Zinc) and/or
rechargeable ones.
♦ Avoid all contact with the liquid that could be released
from the battery. In case of contact with eyes, wash them
thoroughly and seek medical advice. The liquid spilled
from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
Assembling the base
♦ Join one part of the base to the other so the wholes and
hoops on each part of the base fit (Fig.1)
♦ Unscrew the plastic nut from the body (Fig. 2)
♦ Pass the power cord through the flute and fit the base
onto the body. Fix the body and the base together with
the plastic nut (Fig. 3)
♦ Stand the appliance up again to check that the base is
stable.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before use:
♦ Make sure that all product's packaging has been
removed.
♦ Prepare the appliance according to the function you wish
to use:
Use:
♦ Extend the cable completely before plugging it in.
♦ Connect the appliance to the mains.
♦ Turn the appliance on, by using the on/off button (1/c).
♦ Select the desired speed.
Fan function:
♦ Select the desired ventilation speed by pressing the fan
speed button (2/a).
Timer function:
♦ The appliance's operating time can be controlled (1-
15h).
♦ To program the operating time simply select it using the
timer button (5/d).
♦ When the appliance is on stand-by mode, you can set a
timer to start the appliance.
♦ When the appliance is on, you can set the timer to turn
off the appliance.
♦ The time programmed will be indicated by the pilot lights.
♦ After the selected time the appliance will switch on or off

automatically.
Oscillation function:
♦ The oscillation function makes it possible to direct the
flow from the apparatus so that it automatically swings
its body.
♦ To activate this function, press the oscillation button (3/b)
♦ To deactivate this function, press the oscillation button
again.
WIND MODES:
♦ This model has three wind modes:
♦ Normal: The fan operates constantly at the selected
speed.
♦ Breeze: The fan alternates periods of more and less
power, simulating the feeling of a soft breeze. The
amplitude of these shifts depends on the speed selected.
♦ Night: At speed 3, the fan operates at this speed for
approximately 30 minutes, then it switches to speed 2
for another 30 minutes and finally it switches to speed 1
until it is turned off or the timer runs out. At speed 2, the
fan operates at speed 2 for 30 minutes, then it switches
to speed 1 until it is turned off or the timer runs out.
At speed one, the fan operates at this speed until it is
turned off or the timer runs out.
♦ To activate this function, press the modes button (4/e).
♦ To deactivate this function, press the mode button until
the 3 lights turn off.
Once you have finished using the appli-
ance:
♦ Turn the appliance off, using the on/off button (1/c).
♦ Unplug the appliance from the mains.
♦ Clean the appliance.
Carry handle/s:
♦ This appliance has a handle on the back to make it easy
and convenient to transport (D).
CLEANING
♦ Disconnect the appliance from the mains and before
undertaking any cleaning task.
♦ Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops
of washing-up liquid and then dry.
♦ Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH
such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the
appliance.
