- Select the desired test mode ▼/▲ (2.9) and press ENTER (2.7); the symbol √ will be displayed reside the
selected mode.
- Press RETURN (2.6) to return to the parameter setting display.
Set the upper limit:
- On the parameter setting display, move the cursor with ▼/▲ (2.9) to select Upper limit and press ENTER
(2.7) (Fig. 29).
- Input the value of the upper limit by using the numeric keypad (2.10) and press ENTER (2.7). Note: the
Absorbance measurement range is -0.3/3 and the Transmittance's 0-200.
- If no changes are necessary press RETURN (2.6).

Sample analysis
After setting the time interval, the total test time and the upper and lower limits, proceed as follows:
Press RETURN (2.6) to return to the pre-test interface.
Put the blank sample into the light path and press ZERO (2.3)
Put the sample into the light path and press START/STOP (2.5) to enter the results display.
Press START/STOP (2.5) again to start testing (Fig. 31). As test goes on, the kinetics curve and the time of analysis
will be displayed.
To interrupt the test press START/STOP (2.5); by pressing again this button, the test will start again from the begin-
ning.
