Prior to operation:
• Make sure the guards have been mounted correctly.
The saw blade guard must be in closed position.
• Make sure the saw blade rotates in the direction
of the arrow on the blade.
Switching ON and OFF (fig. A)
For safety reasons the ON/OFF-switch (1) of your
Circular Saw is equipped with a lock-off button (2).
• Press the lock-off button (2) to unlock the tool.
• To run the tool, press the ON/OFF-switch. As
soon as the ON/OFF-switch is released the lock-
off button is automatically activated to prevent
unintended starting of the tool.
Do not switch the tool ON or OFF when
the saw blade touches the workpiece or
other materials.
Holding the Circular Saw (fig. A)
• Hold your saw by the main grip and the front
handle (5) to guide the saw properly.
• The cut being smoother at the side where the
saw blade leaves the workpiece, clamp it with
the back facing the saw blade.

extraction outlet (11).
• Mount the dust extraction adaptor (20) to the
outlet (11) using the screws and locking plate (21)
as shown.
• Whenever possible, connect a dust extraction
device designed in accordance with the relevant
regulations regarding dust emission. Vacuum
hoses of most common vacuum cleaners will fit
directly into the dust extraction spout.
Using the optional guide rail (fig. F)
The optional guide rail converts your Circular Saw
into a convenient, on-site portable alternative for a
stationary panel saw. It protects the top layer of your
workpiece and allows you to obtain perfectly straight
cuts. The bottom of the guide rail is made of anti-slip
material.
• Place the guide rail with the saw on the workpiece.
• Guide the saw along the guide rail.
