Inserting/replacing the charge box (D10-LX)
The D10-LX wine cooler is powered by a charge box. This charge box is then
inserted into the device.
Caution! Danger of injury!
Batteries contain aggressive and caustic acids. Avoid battery fluid
coming into contact with your body. If your skin does come into con-
tact with battery fluid, wash the part of your body in question thor-
oughly with water.
Caution!
When using the charge box, make sure that the two metal contacts
never touch electricity-conducting parts at the same time, since
this could lead to a short circuit and damage the device.
Caution!
Never open the charge box.
Use only original accessories of the manufacturer.
➤ Remove the charge box from the device (if necessary or desired, see 3,
page 4).
➤ If necessary, push the new charge box, contact springs first, into the
device until it audibly latches in place.

Charging the batteries
Caution!
Attempting to charge single-use, dry-cell batteries leads to a risk of
explosion.
Charging batteries with D10 wine cooler
If you use rechargeable batteries with the D10 wine cooler you have to
recharge them with a standard charger for AA batteries by removing the
batteries from the battery box.
