45°
6mm
The loop must be installed in a fur-
row at least 10 mm wide with the
corners chamfered by 45° in order
to avoid twists that might affect the
integrity of the wire the loop con-
sists of.
11 - FIXING THE STATION
The station must be positioned on the foundation plate and fixed to it with M10 nuts and a
washer in-between. The nuts must be tightened diagonally.

WARNING - When performing wiring and installation, refer to the standards in force and,
whatever the case, apply good practice principles. Wires must be secured with additional
fastenings near the terminals, for example using cable clamps. All wiring must be carried
out by qualified staff.
Low down, the Espas 20I station is fitted with a practical terminal board the installer must
safely wire the following components to:
- 230Vac electrical line (wire to the GND terminal and L, N disconnector)
- Barrier controls (standard controls for electromechanical barriers, use 5 UTP
Flex cable).
- Magnetic loops: pair of magnetic loops to wire to an undecal socket.
Attention: for further details, see the installation diagrams.
WARNING! For connection to the mains power supply, use a multicore cable
with a cross-section of at least 3x2.5mm of the kind provided for by the regula-
tions in force. For instance, for the cable inserted into pipes it must be equal to
FG7OR or RZ1-K with a 3x2.5mm section. 230V conductors must be kept physi-
cally separate from very low voltage safety circuits.
