This product is part of the Nikobus home automation system. A description of the total system can
be found in the Nikobus catalogue and operating instructions or at www.niko.be.
Connection and function
The digital switching clock allows electrical consumers to be switched according to a pro-
gram via the Nikobus system. It allows a variety of actions to be carried out in the fields
of lighting, heating and security. The switching clock has a weekly program, so that each
day of the week can be programmed individually. Such a program consists of a series of
commands. Each command comprises the following elements: selection of the channel,
1/0 state of the channel and day of the week.
In a one-step command, only one (start or stop) time is programmed. In a two-step com-
mand, both a start and a stop time are programmed. In multistep commands, a date is pro-
grammed as well, allowing the clock to function as a switching clock with a yearly pro-
gram within the Nikobus system.
The digital switching clock is connected to the Nikobus via the modular interface (05-055)
and is also supplied by the latter. The digital switching clock is available in 2 variants: the
modular 2-channel clock (05-182) and the modular 4-channel clock (05-184).
