B – Servicefunktionen (siehe Abb. A)
Heizkörper absperren
Beide Drehknöpfe (5) mit einem Schlüssel
SW 13 oder Schraubendreher um 90° nach
innen drehen.
Der Beipass bleibt im abgesperrten Zustand
geöffnet.
C – Einstellung (siehe Abb. B)
Werkseitig ist die Armatur auf einen Heizkör-
peranteil von 35 % eingestellt.
Beipass verändern
Verschlusskappe (6) SW 13 abschrauben.
Mit der darunterliegenden Drosselspindel
(Innensechskant 6 mm) den Widerstand
im Beipass der Armatur gemäß Diagramm
verändern.
Die Wassermenge, die über den Heizkör-
per fließen soll, wird durch Vergrößern
(Rechtsdrehung) oder Reduzieren (Links-
drehung) des Widerstandes bestimmt.
Hinweis: Gefahr von Wasseraustritt bei mehr
als 6 Umdrehungen!
Verschlusskappe (6) wieder anschrauben.
EN – Installation instructions
Permissible use
Connection fitting for single-pipe system, with
adjustable flow control spindle, for use on ra-
diators with a valve with ¾" external thread
to DIN V 3838.
For flow temperature: max. 110 °C (briefly
up to 130 °C)
For system pressure: max. 10 bar
For heating water in acc. with VDI 2035
Connection centre line = 50 mm
Supply/return may be shut off
Pipe side with ¾" Euro cone for connection
of copper, carbon steel, stainless steel, pla-
stic and metal-jacketed composite pipe in
conjunction with suitable fittings
May be used in two-pipe system by closing
off the bypass
A – Installation (see Fig. A)
Radiator side:
Press both cones (1) into the connections on
the radiator.
Make sure that the supply insert (7) is in
the supply and the return insert (2) is in the
return of the connection fitting (the return
insert reduces the back flow of heat when
the thermostatic valve is closed in a single-
pipe system). Exchange inserts if necessary.
Thread the two 30 mm nuts (3) onto the
radiator as far as they will go (tightening
torque: max. 40 Nm).
When using the fitting in a two-pipe system,
close off the bypass:
Unscrew the 13 mm cap (6).
Turn the flow control spindle underneath
(6 mm socket) clockwise until closed.
Screw the cap (6) back on.
Pipe side:
Make sure that pipes are parallel and not
stressed.
Using suitable fittings, attach pipes to ¾"
external thread (4).
B – Service functions (see Fig. A)
Shut off radiator
Using a 13 mm spanner or screwdriver, turn
both knobs (5) in (rotate by 90°).
The bypass remains open when shut off.
C – Adjustment (see Fig. B)
The fitting is set at the factory to a radiator
share of 35 %.
Changing the bypass
Unscrew the 13 mm cap (6).
Using the flow control spindle underneath
(6 mm socket), change the resistance in the
bypass in accordance with the diagram.
The amount of water that is supposed to
flow through the radiator is determined by
increasing (turn clockwise) or decreasing
(turn anti-clockwise) the resistance.
Caution: Risk of water escaping upon excee-
ding 6 complete rotations!
Screw the cap (6) back on.
