Proper use
The product is determined to operate into wall-mounted mains socket (220–240V~, 50Hz) and
is used as photo-nightlight.
Any other use than the one described above is not permitted, may damage the product and in
addition, involves certain risks. The product may not be altered or converted.
All safety instructions and notes on operation in these operating instructions must be observed
at all times. Please read through the operating instructions carefully before using the product.
Keep them in a safe place for future reference.
This product complies with the applicable national and European specifi cations.

Explanation of symbols, labels
This lightening symbol is used when your health is at risk, e.g. through an
electric shock.
This symbol points out particular dangers associated with handling, func-
tion or operation.
The product is exclusively intended for the operation and use in dry in-
doors, it must not get damp or wet!
The product complies with the safety class II.
Observe their operating instructions!
Safety Information
The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage occurs due to failing to com-
ply with the operating instructions! We will not assume any responsibility
for consequential damage!
Nor do we assume liability for property damage or physical injury caused by
improper use or failure to observe the safety instructions. In such cases the
warranty/guarantee is void.
• For reasons of safety and approval (CE), the product must not be converted
and/or modifi ed without authorisation.
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children! Particular
care must therefore be exercised if children are around.
• Do not leave any packaging material unattended. It may become a dangerous
toy for children.
• Keep the operating instructions safe for future reference.
• If you sell or pass on this product to a third party, always include these direc-
tions for use.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by an expert or a
specialised repair shop.
• The product is constructed according to protection class II.
• The product is approved for operation in dry, closed rooms only. It must not
become damp or wet as there is the risk of a deadly electric shock! Never touch
the product with wet hands.
• Insert the product only into a proper wall-mounted mains socket
(220-240V~/50Hz) of the public supply grid. Do not connect the product to an
extension cord.
• Never plug the appliance into a mains socket immediately after it has been tak-
en from a cold room to a warm one. The condensation that forms could destroy
the product or lead to an electric shock. Wait until the product is at room tem-
perature and the condensation has evaporated. This may take several hours.
• Operate the product only in surrounding air. Do not cover up with blanket, cloth-
ing or other material.
• The product must be disconnected, if safe operation cannot be assumed and
make sure it cannot be restarted accidentally. Safe operation is no longer pos-
sible, if the product:
- shows visible damage (e. g. broken housing).
- was stored under unfavourable conditions.
- no longer operates after transport.
• Handle the product with care. It can be damaged by impact, blows or when
dropped even from a low height.
• Do not expose the product to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations, moisture
or strong mechanical loads.
• Please consult a specialist in case of doubts about correct operation or product
safety.

Initial start up
• Plug the photo-nightlight into a mains wall socket (220-240V~, 50Hz). Do not use an exten-
sion cable.
• Press On/Off switch to turn the light on or off.
Change photo
• Unplug the product from the mains socket.
• Pull out the front of the device from the back by holding the four gripping straps.
• Change the photo (106 mm × 71 mm, transparent photo).
• Carefully press the front of the device on the back of it.
Maintenance and care
• Before cleaning, unplug the product from the mains socket.
• Clean the product with a soft, clean and dry cloth.
• Do not use aggressive detergents or chemicals as these can damage the housing (discol-
ouration).
