Start-up / Operation of the condensation drier
Initial operation
The device is delivered individually packaged and the packaging should be removed as follows:
Keep the carton upright, do NOT place the packaging upside down (the labelling on the package must be upright). Now
use a pair of scissors, or other similar object, to cut the bands that secure the base of the package and lift the packa-
ging upwards. Now remove the top protective layer of polystyrene. Then lift the device from the lower transport packa-
ging and place it on the floor. Finally, remove the plastic film. The handle for transporting the device is supplied loosely
in the packaging.
Please remove the screws located in the two tubes, position the handle on the handle bracket that is fitted to the
device and screw the tubes in place by using the screws you have just removed.
Switching on for the first time
In order to switch on the device it must have been standing for at least 15 minutes in the correct upright position.
WARNING: Failure to observe this may result in irreparable damage to the compressor.
Operation
After plugging the power plug into a suitable earthing contact socket, the red "POWER" control light lights up (C). If the
"WORKING" control light (B) is switched off, turn the hygrostat controller (Figure 2) located on the rear clockwise to a
higher air humidity setting until the light illuminates or to CONT for continuous operation. The light for "Defrost" (A)
also switches on and the dehumidifier starts to work after approximately five minutes.
Display
The control panel (Figure 1) is located in the upper cover of the device and is provided with four control lights. The con-
troller for the hygrostats (2) for switching the device on/off and adjusting the humidity level can be found on the rear of
the dehumidifier.
A brief description of the function can be found under each control light:
Green light "FULL" (D) (FULL): If this light switches on, the device shuts down, as it means the container is full of con-
densate.
Red light "POWER" (C) (VOLTAGE): This indicates that the plug is connected to the electric circuit and that the device
is being supplied with power.
Red light "WORKING" (B) (OPERATION): This switches on if the moisture meter releases the operation of the dehumi-
difier; if the "DEFROST" and "FULL" lights are switched off, the compressor is operational.
Red light "DEFROST" (A) (Pause): This indicates that the compressor is ready to switch on; this occurs during each
start-up phase and during the defrost process, which is conducted cyclically.
