The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
Do not use the iron if it has been dropped or shows visible signs of damage. It will have to be checked by an Authorized
Technical Service Centre before it can be used again.
During breaks in ironing, leave the appliance in the vertical position.
Never leave the hot iron on textiles or materials which could burn easily.
Never rest the iron on the electrical connection cable.
Do not use the iron if the cable becomes frayed.
Do not immerse the iron in water or any other liquid.
When the ironing is finished unplug it from the mains.
Do not unplug it by pulling on the cable, nor leave the plug hanging freely.
If you have to leave the room where you are ironing, then switch the iron off and pull the plug out off the wall socket.
With the aim of avoiding dangerous situations, any work or repair that the appliance may need, e.g. replacing a faulty mains
cable, must only be carried out by qualified personnel from an Authorized Technical Service Centre.
Safety precautions for your iron
Do not leave a hot iron within reach of children. If they come into contact with a hot iron it could lead to serious
burns.
Iron only on an ironing board.
An iron takes approximately 30 minutes to cool down. Allow the iron to cool completely before storing.
Do not wind the cord around the soleplate while the iron is still hot.
Do not leave the iron unattended while it is plugged into the power outlet.
