Insertion of Batteries
•
Open the lid of the battery compartment on the back of the machine
•
Insert 4 batteries of the type 1.5 V UM-2 or C. Please ensure that the polarity is
correct (see bottom of the battery compartment). If the machine is not going to
be used for a long time, the batteries should be removed in order to prevent lea-
kage.
•
When a mains lead is connected the batteries are not used.
Headphone Socket
In order to use headphones insert a set of headphones with a 3.5 mm jack plug
into the socket. This switches off the loudspeakers.
Switching Off the Machine
„Volume"
MIN (off). The mains lead should then be removed.
1. Turn the function selector switch (Volume) to the „ON/
2. Select the desired waveband by using the waveband selector switch.
3. If listening to FM pull up the telescope antenna and turn it in order to improve
the reception.
4. Tune into the desired station with the station tuner.

For repairs within the guarantee period, please take the complete appliance with
the receipt to the place where it was purchased.
