The top pictures on the left show the components of the ventilation system
(ventilation unit , here shown as a right-hand version, supplied / operator unit
as an accessory). The lower picture on the left, shows the schematic
construction of a ventilation system, combined with additional system
components.

The outside air is fed through the earth heat exchanger and ducting system into
the plate heat exchanger within the ventilation unit. At the same time, warm
exhaust air from the living rooms flows through the plate heat exchanger.
Outside air and exhaust air channels are separated in the heat exchanger. The
heat energy from the exhaust air is transferred to the outside air that is flowing
in. The outgoing air fan transports the cooled exhaust air in the heat exchanger
to the outside.
2. The ventilation system
2.1 Overview
A Outside air: Fresh air that is
drawn in from the outside.
B Supply air: Warmed, fresh air
that flows into the living area.
C Exhaust air: Used, warm air that
is extracted from the living area.
D Outgoing air: Used and cooled
air that is returned to the outside.
