8.1 General
Electrically bond boiler to ground in accordance with
requirements of authority having jurisdiction. Refer to:
• USA- National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70.
• Canada - Canadian Electrical Code, Part I, CSA C22.1:
Safety Standard for Electrical Installations.
8.2 Line Voltage Connections - Boiler
Provide individual 120V, 15 amp circuit (recommended)
with fused disconnect or service switch as required by
authority having jurisdiction.
8.3 Central Heating Thermostat
A. Use thermostat or boiler system control with
dry contacts rated 0.5 amps @ 120 VAC. Boiler
control does not provide 24 VAC power to central
heating thermostat. Do not use to power 24VAC
thermostat.
B. Locate and install thermostat per manufacturer's
instructions. Maximum wire length is 330 ft (100m)
for 22 ga. wire.
C. Connect wires to terminals 1 and 2 as shown in
gure 17. Wires are interchangeable.
