2. Safety regulations

The corresponding safety information can be
found in the enclosed booklet.
3.1 SWITCH
The jigsaw comes with a safety switch which is
designed to prevent accidents. To switch on, push
the button forward and press to lock into place. To
switch off the machine press the button again. The
button jumps back into its starting position.
3.2 Electronic speed control setting (Figure 3)
Using the knurled screw on the On/Off switch you
can pre-set any speed. Turn the knurled screw in
PLUS direction for a higher speed and turn it in
MINUS direction for a lower speed. The ideal cutting
rate depends on the specific material and working
conditions.
The general rules for tool speed in cutting operations
apply.
3.3 Changing the saw blade (Figure 2)
Switch off the jigsaw and remove the plug from the
power socket before changing the blade or carrying
out any other work on the jigsaw.
Turn the saw blade holder (a) as far as it will go.
Then insert the saw blade into the guide groove of
the retention bar as far as the stop. The teeth on the
saw blade must be pointing in the direction of cutting.
When you now let go of the saw blade holder (a),
bracket will return to its starting position and hold the
saw blade. Gently pull on the saw blade to check
whether it sits securely in the holder. Check that the
saw blade is positioned in the guide groove of the
retention bar and the roller.

3.4 Adjusting the base (Figure 4)
To enable miter cuts and bevel cuts, the soleplate
can be swiveled by up to 45 ° in both directions after
the lever on the bottom of the machine has been
loosened. The angles are marked with lines at 15°,
30° and 45. It is no problem to set an angle between
the marked degrees.
To adjust the cut angle, loosen the lever (b) until the
soleplate can be moved. Set the required angle and
refasten the lever.
3.5 Setting the pendulum action (8) (Fig.1)
Position 0: No pendulum aktion
Position 1: Slight pendulum action
Position 2: Moderate pendulum action
Position 3: Intensive pendulum action
3.6 Lighting (Fig. 1)
The lamp (11) enables an illumination of the work
area in case of unfavorable lighting conditions. You
can switch on the lamp with the switch (10), but only
when the power plug is connected.
3.7 Dust extraction
The jigsaw is equipped with a dust extractor socket.
Mount the adapter on the jigsaw and fix it in place by
twisting. Any vacuum cleaner can be connected to
the socket at the rear of the jigsaw. If you require a
