V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
- The product is intended for outdoor domestic use in private gardens.
- The product is intended for programming watering (for ex. Lawn, plants, drip irrigation...)
- Only use clear fresh water with temperature below 60C.
- The operating pressure should be 0.5bar minimum and 8bar maximum.
- This product may not be used to do other things outside of the described scope in this manual.
- Do not use the product for unsuitable purposes (for ex. for watering live stock; for food liquids,
chemical products ...)
- The product is not intended for professional or industrial use (for ex.: in public parks, sports
grounds...).
5.2- Operation:
1. Insert a battery into the battery compartment
2. Connect the timer to a tap water.
3. Open the tap
3. Use:
a) In manual mode: set the ON/OFF knob (6) on the "ON" position.
The valve opens for 30min and water flows freely.
To stop the water flow, set the ON/OFF knob (6) on the "OFF" position.
The valve closes and water stops flowing.
b) In programming mode: refer to 5.3. Set the RUN TIME and the FREQUENCY TIME as needed.
The valve opens and closes according to the selected time.
5.3-Programming
1. Set the RUN TIME knob (6) on one of the 10 available positions (ie 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 60, 90,
120 minutes).
2. Set the FREQUNCY knob (4) to "RESET" position.
After the LED (3) flashes, turn the knob (4) to the required watering frequency.
Note: If the LED (3) does not flash, check the battery status and replace if necessary.
Tips: we recommend you to record on a book the set up date and time, the frequency and run time.
3. You can always switch to manual mode by setting the knob (6) on the "ON" position. The valve
opens for 30 minutes and then closes automatically, or you can close the valve by setting the knob (6)
on the "OFF" position.
4. Example 1:
You want to water your lawn every morning at 6am and every afternoon at 6pm for 10 min.
The first day at 6am or 6pm, set the frequency knob (4) to "reset" position. After the LED (3) flashes,
set the frequency knob (4) to ''12''.
Then position the run time knob (6) to ''10''.
After 12h, the water timer will automatically start watering for 10 minutes.
Every day at 6am and at 6pm, your lawn will be watered automatically for 10minutes.
5. Example 2:
You want to water your plants every day at 7pm for 20 minutes.
The first day at 7pm, set the frequency knob (4) to "reset" position. After the LED (3) flashes, set the
frequency knob (4) to ''24''.
Then position the run time knob (6) to ''20''.
The next day, at 7pm the water timer will automatically trigger the watering for 20 minutes.
Every day at 7pm, your plants will automatically have water for 20 minutes.
Remarks:
- The frequency time must be longer than the run time.
