4. Insert the mains plug in a properly installed and grounded 220–240 V socket
with earthing contacts. Your infrared oven is now ready for operation.
5. The fi rst time you use the appliance, do so without food as residual coating
could cause a small amount of odour or smoke to form. Let the empty
appliance heat up for approximately 15 minutes with top / bottom heat (see
chapter "Use"). In the process, ensure that the room is well ventilated, e. g.
with windows that have been opened wide!

Use

ATTENTION!
Burn hazard! During operation, the appliance becomes very hot. Be absolu-
tely sure that you do not come into contact with the heated parts during and
after using the appliance. Only touch the handles and the controllers when
the appliance is in operation or directly after deactivating it.
Scalding hazard due to heat, hot steam or condensed water! We recom-
mend using potholders or kitchen gloves when opening the glass door and
when removing or inserting food.
Burn hazard! Always use potholders or kitchen gloves when removing or
inserting the hot grate or baking sheet.
Make sure that the room is adequately ventilated when the appliance is in
use.
Make sure that the meals you wish to prepare do not come into contact with
the heating elements of the appliance.
Generally speaking, you do not have to preheat the appliance. When
preparing meals, which must be cooked "to perfection", preheating
the oven is still recommended for determining the exact cooking time.
Please observe the manufacturer's specifi cations on time and
temperature when preparing frozen foods.
Do not directly place any foods containing fat or oil on the grate to
avoid contamination of the bottom heating element with dripping
fat / oil. Use the enclosed baking sheet!
1. Place your meals on the grate or the baking sheet.
2. Open the glass door and push the grate and/or baking sheet into the
appliance. Then close the glass door.
3. Turn the operating switch MODE (1) clockwise to top heat, bottom heat or
top / bottom heat.
4. To start baking, set the desired time with the TIMER (2) dial (no more than
30 minutes). The POWER light (3) will illuminate.
