• Do not move the appliance when in use.
• Make sure that the heating elements do not come into contact
with food. If food does burn onto the heating element, pull the
mains plug and let the appliance cool off completely before
you remove the burnt-on food. Do not use any sharp or pointy
objects like knives or forks for this.
• Do not insert foods packed in clingfi lm or plastic bags in the
appliance.
• Never spray cold water on the glass door of the appliance during
or directly after use. The glass could shatter as a result.
• Always keep the glass door closed when the appliance is
operating.
• Do not place any heavy objects on the glass door when it is
open.
• Always place the grate and baking sheet on a heat-resistant
base when they are hot.
• Do not subject the appliance to extreme temperatures, severe
changes in temperature, direct sunlight or moisture.
• Maintain adequate distance to other heat sources such as
stovetops or ovens in order to prevent damage to the appliance.
• Do not allow the appliance to fall and do not subject it to strong
percussions.
• Only use the enclosed accessories from the manufacturer.
Hygienic notes
• There may be some production residues stuck to the appliance.
To avoid health risks, clean the inside of the housing, the grate
and baking sheet thoroughly before fi rst use (see chapter
"Cleaning") and let the appliance heat up for approximately
15 minutes without food.
• Clean the appliance after every use and keep it clean to prevent
the build-up of germs!
• Only prepare food that is suitable for cooking, grilling and
consumption.
