Functional Testing
To perform a complete service check of the Ultravision Battery Recharger you will need the following equipment:
• A fully-charged Ultravision battery
• A partially-discharged Ultravision battery

TEST
Inspect the mains-powered AC adaptor
body, cable and relevant international
plug tips for any signs of physical
damage including excessive wear.
Inspect the plastic casework of
the battery recharger including the
recessed battery bays for any physical
damage.
Connect the AC adaptor using the
appropriate plug attachment between a
mains socket and the DC socket at the
front of the battery recharger. Switch on
the mains power supply.
Place the partially-discharged battery in
the left-hand bay of the recharger.
Place the full-charged battery in the
left-hand battery and leave for 10
minutes.
Place the partially-discharged battery in
the right-hand bay of the recharger.
Place the full-charged battery in the
right-hand battery and leave for 10
minutes.
Remove all batteries from the
recharger.
REQUIRED RESULT
No cracks or breaks in AC adaptor plastic
housing and plug tips.
No damage to DC connector.
No exposed wires in cable connecting plug
adaptor and DC plug.
No cracks or breaks in battery recharger
plastic housing.
The central power/fault indicator is
illuminated green.
The left-hand charging indicator is
illuminated yellow.
After 10 minutes or less, the left-hand
charging indicator is extinguished.
The right-hand charging indicator is
illuminated yellow.
After 10 minutes, the right-hand charging
indicator is extinguished.
If all of the above test steps have produced
the required result then the recharger may
be returned to service.
