Please note the following when using the Fryer:
WHEN REMOVING THE COVER:

USE OVEN MITTS OR POT HOLDERS
1. Place the Fryer on a flat heatproof surface, close to a 120 volt wall outlet.
2. Remove Cover by turning cover handles counter-clockwise.
3. Pour 1.8 – 2 litres of oil into fryer. Peanut, soya or other high quality
vegetable oil is recommended. Ensure that the oil level is maintained
between the MIN and MAX markings on the inside of the Fryer. DO NOT
USE THE FRYER WITHOUT OIL. The Fryer will be damaged if heated dry.
4. Replace the Cover. Turn clockwise until the cover handles are directly over
the base handles. NOTE: The Cover should be replaced so that the Filter
outlet is at the back of the unit.
5. Plug power cord into the wall outlet. Preheat until Indicator Light goes
out. NOTE: The Indicator Light will cycle on and off during the cooking
cycle to maintain the optimum temperature.
6. Attach the Handle to the Frying Basket by pulling back on the Basket Handle
Lock and sliding the metal end of the Handle into the Basket Bracket.
Let the Basket Handle Lock go so that the Handle Release secures the
Handle to the Frying Basket.
7. Place dry food into Frying Basket. Do not exceed
capacity. If using frozen food, do not use more than
capacity. NOTE: All foods should be patted dry before frying. Do not add
wet foods to cooking oil as even small amounts of water will cause oil to
splatter. Use uniform size pieces of food so they will cook evenly.
8. When the Indicator Light goes out, remove the Cover by turning
counter-clockwise and lift Cover with the inside pointing away from you
to avoid contact with steam. It is recommended that you use oven mitts
or potholders when removing the Cover.
9. Lower Frying Basket slowly and carefully to ensure that no oil will
