GROUNDED PLUG
To reduce the risk of electric shock this appliance has a grounded plug.
(2 blades and 1 pin) If the plug does not fit fully into the electrical outlet contact
a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way or use an adaptor.

BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Remove the cover.
2. Fill the Deep Fryer Base with 2 cups (500 ml) of warm soapy water.
DO NOT IMMERSE FRYER, ITS CORD OR PLUG IN WATER OR ANY OTHER
LIQUID. Wash with a dishcloth or sponge. Empty, being careful that water
does not drip down the exterior wall of the Fryer.
3. Rinse with about 2 cups (500 ml) of clear water. Empty.
4. Dry thoroughly.
5. Wipe the lid and exterior wall with a damp cloth. Dry. DO NOT IMMERSE
COVER IN WATER. Cover contains the filter.
6. The Frying Basket and Handle may be immersed in hot soapy water.
Rinse and dry thoroughly.
