To turn the piano mat on and off
To turn the piano mat on, connect the cable's mini USB side to your piano mat and the micro USB end to
your tablet. Make sure that your tablet is on and the Lexibook® Connect' Concerto application is open. To
turn your piano mat off, simply unplug one end of the cable.
Free Play Mode
Play the piano the way you want to. Press on any of the 61 keys on the piano mat or the tablet. If you
choose the tablet, only a section of the piano keys is displayed. Use the navigation arrows to access and
play on different scales. Change instruments and add a drum box for more fun. You can even record your
music. Once you are ready, press the
key to save your melody, then press again to stop the recording.
To listen to the recording, press the
key. To stop the recording playback, press the
key. Remember,
your recordings are automatically saved on your tablet so you can listen to your recordings as many times as
you want.
Note: Drums are only available in "Free Play" mode.
Practice Mode
Learn how to read a music sheet with the 30 classics included in the Connect' Concerto application. Choose
your favourite instrument and melody. Then, follow the notes highlighted on the music sheet (green for the right
hand and red for the left hand) and the keyboard displayed on your tablet. There are 3 levels: demo, apprentice
and expert.
Demo – Music automatically plays when you press the start button. Observe the highlighted notes on the
keyboard and the music sheet carefully.
Apprentice – The music sheet starts to roll out when you press the start button. Follow the music sheet and
press on the correct note. The music sheet waits for the player to play a note to move forward.
Expert – Music sheet starts to roll out when you press the start button and continues to play even if you do not
press any key.
Notes: You can only use the piano mat for "Practice mode". You can hide the keyboard on the tablet by
pressing the key on top of the screen. You can also put the music on pause in all levels at any time. You can
choose to play among 30 classical songs.
Game Mode
Choose your favourite instrument and melody. Set the level:
Beginner – Music plays at a slow pace. It waits for the player to press on a key to continue.
Apprentice – Music plays at a normal pace. It waits for the player to press on a key to continue.
Expert – Music plays at a normal pace and plays along. It does not wait for the player to press a note to go
forward. Follow the falling rectangles by pressing the correct key at the right time. When you press on the
correct key, jumping stars will appear on the screen. When you press on an incorrect key, jumping crosses "X"
will appear on the screen. When you score at least 80%, a "Well done" animation will appear on the screen.
Note: Press on the button
on the Android bar of your tablet to pause your game.
