5.5 Push and hold the
steam
appliance and steam the
surfaces.

WARNING: Do not use the brass brush on
particularly delicate surfaces.
6. CLEANING FURNITURE AND DE-
LICATE SURFACES
6.1 Make sure that chapter 1 has been completed.
6.2 Connect the lance to the appliance as indi-
cated in point 2.2. (it's possible connect the
lance to the flex in order to reach parts that
are difficult to reach, as indicated in point 2.1).
6.3 Press and hold the steam button on the
appliance and direct the steam jet onto a
cloth.
6.4 Use a cloth previously steamed to clean
the surface, avoiding prolonged use on the
same spot.
WARNING: Do not direct the steam jet di-
rectly onto surfaces.
WARNING: Before cleaning the surface,
always do a test on a hidden part and see
how it reacts to the application of steam.
7. WATER OUT
When the appliance does not release steam
anymore, this means there is no more water in
the boiler.
WARNING: Never fill the boiler as soon as
the safety cap has been opened when the
boiler is still hot, even if the appliance is un-
plugged from the mains. On contact with
the hot empty boiler tank, cold water will
evaporate producing a spray of steam whi-
ch can cause burns. Only fill the boiler tank
when cold and always keep your face away
from the boiler tank mouth when filling.
WARNING: Steam.
Risk of scalding!
To continue with use, proceed as follows:
• Disconnect the power supply cable from the
button
on
the
| 10 |
mains.
• Act on the steam request lever until steam
flow ceases.
• Wait for a few minutes to allow the boiler
tank to cool down.
• Unscrew the safety cap by pressing and
holding.
• When cool, proceed to carefully refill the
boiler tank as described in "Preparation for
Use" section.
If refilling the generator when not comple-
tely cooled, we recommend that you then
CAREFULLY pour only very small quantities
of water at each pouring, so as to avoid
spitting from the boiler tank. Cover expo-
sed skin whilst filling.
WARNING: If as you unscrew the it begins to
spin freely or if steam is escaping, immedia-
tely stop the operation, ensuring that the boi-
ler is switched off and the power cable is un-
plugged from the electrical outlet. Wait for
the appliance to cool (two hours) and un-
screw the cap before removing it. TAKE SPE-
CIAL CARE TO PROTECT YOUR FACE !!!

8. GENERAL MAINTENANCE

Before carrying out any maintenance on the
device, always unplug it from the power
mains making sure that the product has coo-
led down before proceeding.
To clean the outside of the appliance, only use
a damp cloth and tap water.
All accessories can be cleaned using running
water, ensuring they are completely dry befo-
re the next use.
Do not use detergents of any type.
After using the brushes, we recommend let-
ting the bristles cool down in their natural po-
sition, in order to avoid any deformation.
9. STORAGE
10.1 Turn off the appliance and disconnect
from the mains electricity.
10.2 Wait for the appliance to cool down com-
pletely before storing it.
