2. CHARACTERISTICS

Digital touchpad panel: electronically controlled, it lets you set the
appliance easily. It has the following functions:
1. button: for cooking any kind of food or preparation evenly thanks
to the exclusive Cuisinart® heat sensor that guarantees even heatflow
and maintains the selected temperature.
2. button: the oven has a pulsed air function that circulates the
heated air for faster cooking. This option ensures perfectly even
cooking of your food.
3. button: to broil quickly and, thanks to the drip pan, without
making the oven dirty.
4. button: for preheating the oven, simply select the desired
temperature and the oven timer beeps to let you know when it's ready.
Used with and
adjustment buttons (+ or -) to select the desired temperature (from
60°C to 270°C).
5. button (toast): for toasting buns or pastries, defrosting one or
more slices or reheating without browning. This button is used on its
own or with the combinable function buttons (5a to 5d):
5a. button: to toast more slices (e.g., 4 to 6 slices)
5b. button: for toast that's browned yet not dry, and for toasting
buns or pastries.
5c. button: to defrost then toast slices of bread.
5d. button: to reheat quickly without toasting.
Use the or button: 7 levels to obtain the exact level of browning
desired.
6. LCD display: displays temperature, clock and timer. Displays the
functions ('Brl'),

browning selected for function
7. button: for the clock to be displayed at all times.
7a. : button for setting the hour.
7.b : button for setting minutes.
8. button: timer button. Used with buttons
9. button: to start or pause a cycle.
10. The roasting pan prevents food from cooking in its own juices for
healthy and light meals. Do not use the roasting pan without the drip pan.
11. Drip pan: to catch drippings during cooking.
12. Reversible oven rack: two cooking heights and a safety stop.
13. Slide-out crumb tray: can be pulled out from the back of the
appliance so that you can remove crumbs easily.
14. Cord storage: on the back of the appliance so that the cord is not left
on the kitchen counter.
