4.3 - ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
F
4.3.1 - GENERAL
• The electrical connection conduits must be fixed.
GB
• Class 1 unit.
• The electrical installation must be carried out in compliance with the rules in force (especially NFC 15-100
I
4.3.2 - DETAIL OF THE CONNECTION
• To have access to the terminal board:
E
- the unit's cover may be removed (see page 3), but is not
required,
D
- simply open the terminal access hatch.
To do this:
- lift the front panel,
- remove the screw from the hatch to gain access to the
terminal strip.
• Thread the electric cables through the rear passage.
• Connect the wires to terminal.
• Use the cable clamp next to the main terminal strip.
• Make sure that the wires are correctly connected to the
terminal board. Incorrect connection can cause operating problems as well as overheating which can cause fires.
4.3.3 - POWER SUPPLY
• 230V / 1+Earth / 50Hz power supply from a power supply and protection device (not included) in accordance with with the
rules in force especially NFC 15-100 (
• The voltage variation tolerance is ± 10 %
during operation.
• Max. protection rating: 6 A.
• The power connection is made on the main
terminal strip (terminals U, N and Earth).
For MCW1 and 2B units, a 2.50 m power cord
is supplied with the unit and is connected to
the terminal strip.
4.3.4 - REMOTE CONTROLS (accessories)
• 3 types: - Code 70250076 ("RAB 30")
With manual change-over (cooling/heating switching)
- Code 70250051 ("RCC 10")
With automatic change-over (cooling/heating switching) : For "2-pipe" units
- Code 70250052 ("RCC 20")
With automatic change-over (cooling/heating switching) : For "2-pipe + 2 electric heating" units

A - Montage / Installation
• See the main characteristics in the Technical Instructions (for the "RCC").
• Consult the "Installation instructions" supplied with the control.
• The unit is connected using 0.75mm
• The cables used must comply with the insulation requirements for the voltage used (230V).
This information relates above all to the sensor input of the automatic control connected to the 230V supply.
• The temperature adjustment range can be limited by means of the mechanical limit stops located on the control knob.
Wall mounting:
• Secure the unit at a height of approximately 1.5 m from the floor in a location representative of normal convection currents,
while avoiding:
- wall which are poorly insulated or liable to vibrate,
- the proximity of parasitic heat sources (sunshine, heating appliances, lamps, fireplaces, televisions, etc.),
- currents of air from doors or windows,
- sheltered locations such as shelves or behind curtains,
- near electrical outlets.
