SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Read all instructions before using this appliance.
• This appliance is not equipped with a device to control the room temperature. Do
not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable
of leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.
• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
• Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the
appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal
operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children
aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the
appliance or perform user maintenance.
• Children over the age of 8 and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or those with a lack of experience and knowledge may only use the
appliance if they are instructed on how to do so by a person responsible for their
safety, or if they are supervised and understand the hazards associated with the use
of the appliance.
• Ensure, that children do not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• The appliance must not be used if the surface panel is damaged.
• The appliance is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot
surfaces. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers,
clothes, and curtains at least 1 meter from the front of the heater and keep them
away from the sides and rear.
• Always unplug appliance when not in use.
• Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater
malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return it to an
authorized service center for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment,
maintenance or repair.
• Do not operate the appliance with the alarm sounding (or illuminating). Switch off
the appliance, unplug the power cord and have appliance inspected by a qualified
electrician before reusing.
• Do not use the appliance until it is securely fixed as described in this manual.
• Check the voltage indicated on the nameplate before use. Only connect the
appliance to sockets that correspond to the voltage of the appliance.
• If the power cord or plug is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an
authorised specialist company or a similarly qualified person.
• The appliance must not be positioned directly under the power socket.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended during use and while connected to the
power supply.
• Use the appliance out of the reach of children. Children may only operate the
appliance under supervision.
• The appliance is not intended for commercial use, but only for use in households
and similar environments.
• Do not run power cord under floor coverings. Do not cover power cord with throw
rugs, runners, or similar materials.
