General safety instructions

This device must not be used by persons (including children) with limited
physical, sensory or mental abilities and/or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they are supervised in the use of the device or have been instructed in
the safe use of the device by a person responsible for their safety.
•
Supervise children to prevent them from playing with the equipment.
•
Never attempt to extinguish a grease fire with water! Instead, switch off the
appliance and cover the flames, for example with a pot lid or a blanket.
•
Do not store any objects on the cooking surface.
•
Take care that no electrical components or cables come into contact with the
hot surfaces of the appliance.
•
Do not use the appliance to heat the room or dry clothes.
•
Do not install next to curtains or fabric furniture.
•
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
customer service or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazards.
•
The unit must not be used in combination with an external timer or a separate
remote control system.
•
Make sure that the power cord is not accessible after installation.
•
If the surface is damaged, turn off the power immediately to avoid electric
shock.
•
Monitor the cooking process. Short cooking times must be permanently
monitored.
•
This appliance should be connected to an electrical circuit that has an isolating
switch that is easily accessible to the user and allows the appliance to be
completely disconnected from the mains supply. The disconnection can be
achieved by installing a switch in the fixed wiring in accordance with the wiring
regulations.
•
All supply circuits must be disconnected before you can access the terminals.
•
Only use the cooking zone protection recommended or designed by the
manufacturer. Using a heater guard not recommended by the manufacturer
may result in an accident.
•
The appliance and the easily accessible parts of the appliance become very
hot during use.
•
Do not touch the heating elements while the appliance is in use.
•
During installation, follow the instructions given in the „Installation" section.
