3. Plug the power adapter into a standard power outlet.
4. Turn on your computer.
Step Four: Configure the Basic Connection Settings
1. Start your Web browser.
2. In the location or address line, type http://192.168.2.1 and press Enter
to access the router configuration Web User Interface.
3. In Password, type admin
4. Click Login.
The Setup Wizard leads you through the basic router configuration
process. If you are unsure about any connection information required
by the wizard, contact your ISP.
5. Your wireless network is now open to wireless devices within operating
range. To prevent access by unauthorized users, you must apply secu-
rity to the router.

Backing Up Your Configuration Settings
Having a backup reduces the effort required in reapplying your configura-
tion settings should you ever restore your router to its factory default set-
tings. USRobotics recommends that you back up your settings now.
A. From the Advanced Settings menu, select Maintenance > Configu-
ration Tools.
B. Select Backup Wireless Router Configuration and click Next.
