Installing the skimmer on the steel wall

Risk of injury due to sharp-edged metal components.
· Carry out all work on the steel wall with caution to avoid cutting injuries.
· Use a suitable tool to deburr sharp metal components.
How to proceed:

1. Position the cut-out for the skimmer opening and the fastening bores on a suitable position on the steel wall.
– To install the skimmer at the correct height, take the marks on the cover into account. Ensure that the water level
in the pond is approximately between the min. and max. mark.
2. Carefully deburr the cut-out and bores.
– Act with caution to avoid cutting injuries.

3. Push the adhesive seal in between the steel wall and pond film and stick it around the cut-out so that it fits precisely.
– Ensure that no kinks are created when sticking the adhesive seal in place.
– Ensure that there is no pond film between the steel wall and the adhesive seal.
– Only one adhesive seal is included in the scope of delivery. Additional seals can be ordered (51317).
4. Screw the skimmer in place with several revolutions using the cover frame and the torx screws, align it, then tighten
it so that the skimmer makes full, even contact with the steel wall.
– Tightening torque: 2 Nm.
– When using a cordless screwdriver: Do not exceed a maximum speed of 500 rpm.
5. Press the cover onto the cover frame.

Installing the skimmer on the concrete wall
How to proceed:
