Intended use
ProfiSkim Wall 100, referred to as "unit", may only be used as specified in the following:
· For cleaning water surfaces.
· Use in swimming ponds and natural pools.
· Use in fish ponds only with filter basket inserted. Regularly check the filter basket.
· Operate in accordance with instructions. (→ Technical data)
The following restrictions apply to the unit:
· Do not use for commercial or industrial purposes.
Function description
ProfiSkim Wall 100 is a wall skimmer. Water flows from the pond through the inlet into the skimmer. Coarse dirt parti-
cles are flushed away and caught in the filter basket (e.g. leaves, insects). The skimmer flap prevents dirt particles
from flowing back into the pool.
The skimmer uses the gravitation principle without a circulation pump or operates with a circulation pump. The filtered
water is returned to the pond through the outlet.
Installation
Installation planning
ProfiSkim Wall 100 can be fitted in concrete or steel walls. The wall skimmer is suitable for steel walls with a thickness
of 3 mm or more.
A cut-out is made in the wall for the skimmer opening. To set the skimmer in concrete, it is advisable to leave the lid in
place. Material-based warping should be taken into account for planning.

· Install the skimmer so that there is no risk of injuries (e.g. by tripping or falling in). Keep the skimmer lid closed unless
it is necessary to open it.
· Install the skimmer horizontally on a stable wall.
· The prerequisites differ depending on the pool. If necessary, include extensions.
· An overflow section can be connected to the skimmer (drilling and attaching pipework). Use a DN-50 pipe for the
overflow section.
· Use a DN-100 pipe for water drainage.
· Include the newt escape in the plan. Small animals can escape through the lateral opening at the top of the skimmer.
For this purpose, remove the small lid at the top of the skimmer and create an escape path.
