Function description
C
Drawn in by a pump in the unit head, the water flows
through two filter chambers arranged next to each
other. Then the water flows back into the aquarium via
the flow‐out pipe or water distributor.
Foam filters with different pore densities, and acti‐
vated carbon/ceramic substrate serve as filter media.
In units with heater, the water is heated during its pas‐
sage through the filter system.
