FLOOR PROTECTION

This unit must be installed on a 1/2" thick, non-combustible floor protector with a k-value of 0.42. A 1" thick
protector with a k-value of 0.84 is also acceptable. The floor protector should be large enough to extend a
minimum of 6" (152.4 mm) in front, 6" (152.4 mm) on each side, and 1" (25.4 mm) behind the stove.
Floor protection must extend under and 2" (50.8 mm) to each side of the chimney tee for an interior vertical
installation. Your pellet stove will need a minimum 31" (787 mm) x 38" (965 mm) floor protector.
CLEARANCES
Your pellet stove has been tested and listed for installation in residential, mobile home, and alcove applications
in accordance with the clearances given in this manual. Any reduction in clearance to combustibles may only
be done by means approved by a regulatory authority.
NOTE: Distance "C" on the left-hand side of your pellet stove may need to be greater than the minimum
required clearance for suitable access to the control panel.
