When blending hot foods, always remove the cookware from the heat
source then blend off heat.
Allow boiling hot foods to cool before adding to the bowl. Do not
blend foods or liquids hotter than 175°F.
For fibrous foods such as leeks, celery, or asparagus, pause to clean
the blender shaft regularly during use.
Cut fruits and remove seeds and pits before blending fruits.
Do not use to process hard foods such as coffee beans, ice cubes,
grains, or chocolate.
Do not use the blender shaft or whisk in the mini-chopper bowl.
When processing large quantities of foods, process in batches and
pause for one minute in between batches to avoid overheating the
motor.
RECIPES
Mayonnaise:
use blender shaft for 10 seconds
at speed 5.
Pancake batter:
use whisk for 60 seconds
at speed 2.
Whipped cream:
use whisk for 2 minutes
at speed 4
Add one egg yolk, 1 tablespoon of
mild mustard, 1 tablespoon wine
vinegar, salt and pepper to the
graduated beaker. Start blending and
then gradually drizzle in 1 cup oil while
moving the shaft up and down for
even blending.
Blend together 1-3/4 cups flour,
pinch of salt, 2 cups cold milk, 3T
melted butter and 3 eggs.
Blend together ¾ cup whipping
cream and 2 teaspoons granulated
sugar.
