8.- Operation
-In all of the examples shown, the password printed on the alarm label is used by default.
If you have changed it, remember to replace it with the current password.
WARNINGS:
-In the configuration, confirmation, and tracking messages, use commas (,) only to separate the different
parameters, never to define alert messages.
-The only purpose of the blank spaces is to define alert messages.
-Messages must be ALWAYS be in upper-case.
-Pay special attention to your mobile telephone's spell check function. Check that the message is correct
before sending it.
-No accents, umlauts or special characters may be used.
-We recommend that using the application "AKO-52044" for smartphones to carry out the
configuration. It is available at www.ako.com and in the Google Play Store and Apple
App Store.
Alarm sending sequence
When an alarm is detected in any of the inputs, the alarm sends an SMS to the assigned contacts in the following
order:
Tel.
Tel.
If the first number does not send a confirmation message in the preset time (response time), the alert is sent to the
next number, and so on. If the last number on the list does not answer, the system will start again with the first one.
When a confirmation message is sent, there are no more notifications of the alarm until it disappears and is re-
activated.
The alarm message is configurable (see page 21). If it has not been changed, the received message will be similar
to the following:
ALARM,I4,ALARMA IN 4
Alarm confirmation
To confirm an alarm, reply to the message received with OK I<input number>. You do not have to enter the
administrator password; the alarm will respond with a confirmation message after a few moments.
Example:
After a few seconds, the alarm responds with the message*:
OK
As soon as the alarm disappears, the message is sent:
NO ALARM,I4
*If you receive an error message, refer to page 26.
