Before fi rst use

Speed control and Pulse switch
Th e speed control can be used to vary the
operating speed. Alternatively, the pulse
switch may be used - when it is pressed, the
appliance operates at maximum speed. With
the switch in its '' position, the motor is
switched off .
Attachment storage
Th is compartment serves to store the cutting
and grating inserts when they are not in use.
Wind-up power cord storage
Th e power cord can be wound up for storage
on the underside of the unit. Unwind it
completely before operation.
