Completely empty the vacuum cleaner

and the ash filter after the vacuum
cleaning.
Caution! Risk of fire in the vacuum
cleaner.
CAUTION
Wait until the ashes have cooled down
before you begin with the cleaning. We
do not recommend extinguishing the
fire rapidly with water. The chimney ma-
terial will not withstand the quick tem-
perature changes and may crack.
Excessive temperatures may damage
the ash filter and the vacuum cleaner or
individual parts of these devices.
The appliance must provide of a stable
ground.
Description of the Appliance
Ash filter
These operating instructions describe the
maximum equipment. Depending on the
model, there are differences in the scopes
of delivery (see packaging).

Commissioning
Remove ash filter from the packaging.
Open clips and remove container lid.
Remove all parts from the container.

Insert fine filter bag (see chapter "In-
serting the fine filter bag").
Refit container lid and close with the clips.
Insert the suction tube on the end of the
suction hose. The two ends of the suc-
tion hose are identical.
Push suction hose of the ash filter into
the connection intended for this pur-
pose (Bayonet) and turn.
Prepare the vacuum cleaner accord-
ing to the operating instructions. In-
sert a filter bag into the vacuum
cleaner.
Push the vacuum cleaner's suction hose
into the corresponding connection.
Switch on vacuum cleaner and start
your work.
