Setting up
The IKA-Laboratory reactor system has been supplied in a basic
version ready for operation and can be direcly set up on a level
work bench.
Inserting the reactor vessel:
• Loosen clamping lever on telescopic stand
• Push stirrer drive upwards by hand (supported by a protective
gas spring)
• Insert reactor vessel into instrument base
• Open container collets via crank handle
• Press stirring drive down
• Fix telescopic stand with clamping lever in this position
• Close container collets
• Close all three clamps and tighten them
The stirrer drive is firmly fitted to the stirring shaft and is a per-
manent part of the IKA-laboratory reactor. Only the reactor ves-
sels are changed for the respective operations.
