Automatic battery separator Tremat TS 70
Tremat TS 70 is used for automatically connecting and disconnecting starter
battery I and supply battery II at the correct time. Tremat TS 70 also ensures
that the 12V refrigerator is switched off when the generator is not in operation.
During driving operation, the starter battery (I) and the supply battery (II)
areconnected with each other (parallel connection) once the motor has been
started, and the refrigerator output is enabled. When the motor is switched off,
the two batteries are disconnected, and the refrigerator is switched off. Once
the supply battery reaches a voltage of 14V during charging with a charger, it
is automatically connected in parallel with the starter battery. This ensures that
the starter battery is also charged. Once the voltage falls below 13V, the two
batteries are automatically disconnected.
The Tremat signal output (
) caries +12Volt (currents up to 50mA) when
the two batteries are connected in parallel. This output can be used for display
functions.
