These fitting instructions describe how to fit the BASE-STATION 1 NG wall
bracket. The wall bracket is an accessory for the LIFE-BASE 1 NG carrying
system. Read the operating instructions for the LIFE-BASE 1 NG carrying
system (WM 67061) as they are a component of these fitting instructions.
The scope of supply includes the parts required to attach the wall bracket to
the wall. Using additional attachment sets, you can also fit the wall bracket
to a standard hospital rail (attachment set WM 15805) or to an ordinary rail
(attachment set WM 15806). The relevant fitting instructions describe how
to assemble the attachment sets.

Safety information

Warning!
• Only the LIFE-BASE 1 NG carrying system may be suspended
from the wall bracket. The weight and dimensions of this
carrying system are exactly matched to the wall bracket. Other
carrying systems may not be used.
• Suspending third-party products or other makes of adapter is
not permitted as this does not comply with the use in
accordance with purpose of this wall bracket. Refer to the
instructions for use of the LIFE-BASE 1 NG carrying system.
Note
• The surface for attachment must be sufficiently strong to hold the
wall bracket and the carrying system securely in accordance with
DIN EN 1789 (ambulances) and/or RTCA DO 160E.
• The charger interface connection (optional) to the 12V on-board
electricity supply must be fused with an 8A fuse.
• The wall bracket has been tested exclusively with M5 mounting
screws to EN ISO 4762 (strength 8.8). If other screws are used,
ensure that they are of equivalent or greater strength.
• The fitter is responsible for the fitting of the wall bracket.
